Olympic Facilities in the Regions

This marketing statement,we have all the facilities necessary to make the Olympic Games a resounding success largely used in the bid to host the Paris Olympic Games was not a marketing gimmick.For the simple fact that residents and observers can identify at all levels,the activities of sports clubs,the initiatives of federations and the financial contributions of local authorities to the development of table tennis,lawn-tennis,swimming,cycling,rugby and football.

Stadiums in the North of France

Strasbourg,Lille, Nantes and Paris are the major cities in the North of the country with world class sport facilities and they are noted for the organisation  of international events throughout the year.For instance,Handball and Basketball competitions during the Games will be at the Stade Pierre Mauroy constructed between 2010 and 2012 in memory of the first prime minister of president Mitterrrand.In 2013,the stadium  became the Decathlon Arena stade Pierre Mauroy,won the Venue of the Year award and it retained its status as a venue for national and international sporting events.In Paris, the Parc des  Princes will host important football matches and within the site of Le Parc des Princes,there are other Olympic Games Facilities.

Facilities in the South of France

In the south western part of France,the city of Bordeaux has the biggest stadium,which was opened in 2015.Le stade Matmut Atlantique de Bordeaux is the favourite venue of Les Girondins de Bordeaux and the Olympic flame on the 27th of May 2024. Men and women football matches will take place in the stadium during the Olympic Games and on the eastern part of this area,there is the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.Another  symbol of local government commitment to the development of sports as the Olympique Lyonnais played here in 2016 and during the last week of July and the first week of August 2024,this venue will hold many Olympic events just  like le Stade Saint Etienne.
